
Our Story
Doriflow started from a simple observation: advanced simulation tools are often difficult to access. Many engineering solvers are expensive, complicated to configure, and require long computation times on CPU-based systems. For small studios, startups, researchers, or independent creators, this creates a significant barrier to experimentation.

As a Multiphysics Simulation Engineer and long-time Blender user, I recognized an opportunity to bring modern multiphysics simulation into a more open and creative environment. Doriflow was created to bridge this gap - combining engineering-grade physical modelling with the accessibility and flexibility of 3D software like Blender.

Our vision is to make multiphysics simulation available to everyone. Whether you are a researcher exploring a new physical concept, a startup building simulation-driven products, or an artist experimenting with complex physics effects, Doriflow allows ideas to be tested quickly. What once required days or weeks of CPU computation can now often be explored in minutes using GPU acceleration.

By lowering both the technical and financial barriers, we hope to enable more people to experiment with physics, build new tools, and develop innovative simulation-driven workflows.
